Fried potato kibbeh
Fried Potato Kibbeh…. For lovers of the excellent kibbeh recipes of the Levantine kitchen, here is a new recipe for making potato kibbeh. Try it from my lady’s kitchen, and it’s served hot alongside main dishes. Watch: Meat in video with potato kibbeh
material
Potatoes: 5 pcs
Onion: 1 piece (chopped)
Egg: 2 tablets
Rusk: A cup
Vegetable oil: 4 tbsp
Salt: One teaspoon
Black pepper: Half teaspoon
Flour: Half a cup
Minced meat: a quarter kilo
How to make
Boil potatoes until tender, then mash with black pepper and salt. Heat oil in a frying pan in the oven and fry the onion, minced meat, a pinch of salt and black pepper well. Make balls of mashed potatoes and put some meat filling in the middle. After making the balls, dip them one by one in flour, then in beaten egg, then in breadcrumbs. Deep fry the balls in oil until they are soft, then serve hot.
